Loadscan introduces LoadVision to enhance Load Volume Scanner system
Loadscan, the global leader in volumetric measurement technology, has launched LoadVision, an integrated camera option for its market-leading Load Volume Scanner (LVS) system.
This innovative addition aims to further revolutionise load management processes by providing real-time visual verification and enhancing data accuracy for customers working with bulk materials such as aggregate, sand or gravel, as well soil or cleanfill.
The newly-introduced LoadVision system seamlessly captures video and images of truck loads passing through the scanner. This further enhances security measures, as each load is visually documented, providing a clear record of the truck being scanned. Not only does this reinforce the integrity of the scanning process, but also acts as a safeguard against potential discrepancies or disputes.
The integration of LoadVision also facilitates real-time synchronisation of the image capture with scanner records, delivering visual evidence to support the volumetric measurements, that are then stored in Loadscan’s cloud-based MyScanner data management system. This allows Loadscan to provide its customers with proof of load content as well as a volume measurement, creating greater trust and transparency in business transactions.
“The introduction of the LoadVision camera option marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet the continually evolving needs of our customers,” said Carey West, CEO of Loadscan. “By integrating LoadVision into our Load Volume Scanner system and MyScanner platform, we are not only enhancing security and data accuracy, but also empowering our customers with the tools they need to streamline operations and minimise any disputes.”
In addition to enhancing security and data accuracy, the LoadVision camera option allows customers to remotely access the video and images for every scan through the MyScanner cloud service platform. Individual scan images and video can also be downloaded through MyScanner for sharing or long-term storage. A live camera feed via a third-party mobile application is also available, providing real-time visibility into load scanning processes from anywhere, at any time, ensuring seamless monitoring and management of operations, even in remote or off-site locations.
The integration of the LoadVision camera supports the information and imagery provided by the 3D scan, offering customers an added level of confidence in the data being delivered. This comprehensive approach to load management not only improves operational efficiency but also enables quality auditing of clean fill, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
“We believe that the LoadVision camera option will provide yet another tool to assist our customers in managing and monitoring their load scanning processes,” added West. “By combining advanced technology with user-friendly features, we are empowering businesses across industries to optimise efficiency, enhance security, and drive growth.”
The LoadVision camera option is available as an integrated module that can be retrofitted to Loadscan’s Load Volume Scanner system, offering customers a comprehensive solution for accurate volumetric measurement and visual verification.
